From my research on this site, I have noticed that some Nano 24's have been modded via the removing of bio balls, rings, etc. to set up a refugium. This is an idea I would like to pursue.
Will the new JBJ 28 Nanocube due in March be able to handle a refugium?
The heater and skimmer seem to be pre-set. Help me visualize if the refugium would fit, and how. In the middle chamber after overflow, or after the skimming and heating in the "bottom" of the system (just before the return pumps)?
I would love opinions on skimmer/refugium set-ups versus say filter socks,purigen, and refugium. I know in the end I will have to experiment and see what works best for me. But there are many gurus with sage advise lurking here
