I am going to post this under classifieds but thought I would through this out here first. I think am going to be selling everything. I am so sad but I am currently battling ich and am losing fish 1 by 1. I don't think I can go through this again. So if you know anyone interested believe I am going to sell everything for $5000. Everything! I am so heart broken but like I said I don't think I can go through this again.

Don't give up!!!

Catch the fish, QT or HT. Treat with Cupramine or Chloriquine Phosphate. You could also do tank transfer. Let the tank be fish free for a long time. IIRC, the fallow period needs to be 8 weeks. Once it's truly cleaned up it won't come back.

If you are not already connected to the local fish clubs, you should be. There are tank buddies out there to help you! PM me and I can give you some club suggestions.

I appreciate the help but I think I'm done. I can't go through this again. I've been in the hobby for about 20 years and have lost fish before but nothing devasting like this. It's breaking my heart. We'll see who hangs on but so far lost my Kole tang, Midas Benny, mandarin fish who've I had for about 8 years. Purple tang isn't looking to hot but my fingers are crossed. I've had him over 10 years.
I think I'm selling everything if you know anyone interested in a beautiful 1 year old Leemar tank. Yes Leemar is still around, they are not making custom tanks anymore but the are still servicing and warranting them if needed.

Give yourself some time. Tangs are the one that brought Ich to my tank and wiped the whole tank out. I lost all my fish couple of yrs ago. From that day onwards all my fish live in the quarantine tank for atleast 3 or more months in my garage before getting into my display. My display has emperor aquatics 80 watts UV (just in case). Uv won't eliminate Ich but will control it preventing a bloom and will stop the fish death. Fish usually don't die just because of ich alone but they do die because of the secondary infection by bacteria and other pathogens. It seems like Ich causes sores and then the other pathogens infect it and cause fish death. UV Significantly reduces ich and pathogen population in the tank and fish start recovering.
I don't have tangs anymore, and I'm afraid to get one. I came close to giving up this hobby, but I'm glad I didn't. Reef safe triggers are my favorite now.
You can at least have corals alone without much fish? for that you might want Hydra 52.
Also, I think if you separate out everything and sell it in craigslist, you will get more money back than selling them altogether. Also, it may be hard to find a single buyer who wants to buy all of the items you have but I'm sure there are several buyers needing each of your equipment in craigslist.

I saw your sale thread and I found your build thread, I know it sucks really bad, I lost my Hawaiian Dragon Morey back in the early 90 and I got out for 10 years, I hope you hang on and not sell your tank. Good luck

I hear yea man ... I just lost my powder brown, Salfin tang, and purple dotty a few days ago when upgrading to a 210 for them .... Had them all over 4 years and supper fat ... Holding tank crashed when a Duncan colony of 50+ heads melted down into a go ball .... only my two tomato clowns and blenny lived ... no more fish for me for at least a year as well ... To tired after setting up the new to tank to think about getting rid of it
