New Life Spectrum

Has anyone used New Life Spectrum Marine Fish formula? I was wondering if it is really has good as they say on their website. They state that it's completely balanced and I was thinking that this would be good for my future clowns.

I use it in a "mix" along with cyclopeeze and Formula 1 and 2 pellets in my auto-feeder, for morning feeds (I generally feed frozen at night). The fish seem to love it...can't comment about the balance part though, as I've never used it as the only food.

the small pellets and flake are as good if not better than the ocean nutrition range if not better I have used both extensively and there not much between them the new life small pellets seem to be better accepted than on formula 1 pellets by most of my fish and dont seem to sink as quickly.

cheers

Make sure you get the Spectrum A+ marine formula. I feed it to all my fish and have had no health issues since September when I started using this stuff. Plus all my fish have great colors. I strongly recommend it.

I'm wondering if a diet of NLS and Formula 1 would be acceptable for clowns. Would NLS be an alright staple with cyclopeze every once in a while? Or perhaps Formula 1 as a staple with cyclopeze every once in a while?

I'd feed cyclopeeze regularly, personally. The cyclopeeze is what got my clowns eating again while they were on death's door, and they've been improving ever since.

Yeah, I would certainly go frozen. You should be able to get it from your LFS for about $10, but that bar will last you quite a long time.
