the frogspawn that i thought died after the office tank crashed when it went >92deg has new life i think. the large heads gelled and died in a day and now there are small heads (brown in pic) emerging at the base.

When the colony dies, sometimes it will emerge babies at the base. NEVER throw skeletons out. Leave it and see. I had one frogspawn that died on me during moving process, it sprung one baby out, now it's getting huge.

Leave it the way it is. It will grow upwards on it's own.
