First thank you to those who were so helpful in my tank start-up.
So of course, another quick question guys.

I guess my tank is doing well between the crazy coraline growth and now new life. I have new baby snails showing up at of nowhere in my sump. Alot !
My only issue is they keep on traveling into the venturi and bogging down the skimmer.

Here is my real question. Do pyramid snails shed their outer shell and grow a new one?

No. They utilize the calcium in the water and the shell just grows bigger and bigger.
