new lighting

Hi there, I recently upgraded my lights from (2x150 + 2x54w) to (2x250 + 4x54w). The corals are growing noticeably, and re-gaining color (though some way to go...). What I am not sure about is how many hours/day of lighting should I provide the tank. At present I have the 4x54w on for 10h and thw MH on for 8h. Should I dare more - what is your advise?

what about coral coloration - how much does that depend on lighting vs. other factors? now that the corals are growing fast due to the new lights - what is the next step to get vibrant colors?

Keeping the big three (alk, cal and mg) within spec and stable.Keeping good water quality and nutrients under control(using gfo, weekly water changes, strong skimming etc...) Those seem to be equally important to getting better colors.
