I thought I might be letting things go a little too long on replacing my 175W MH bulbs. I have been using the Iwasaki 15000K and am happy with them. But it has been 14-1/2 months. I replaced the bulbs yesterday with new ones and about fell over at the difference. To my eye, I would say it doubled in intensity. Amazing. Perhaps things will start growing again if I don't kill them from the sunburn or the shock. I won't let it go past 12 months again.

You might want to cut the photoperiod in half and go up an hour a week to prevent bleaching. That's what I do when I change bulbs FWIW.
