New lion fish

Now then I'm hoping someone might be able to help me I have a relatively new marine system about 6 months old with8 fish 12 days ago I bought a p antennata lionfish about 3 inches long he has not eaten anything yet and 3 days ago he started with cloudy eye. I have bought some Esha oodinex wide spectrum treatment so I'm trying it tonight yes I'm taking my active carbon out whilst I'm treating but if there's any advice out there I would be greatful also when I came home today he was having a poo so what that says I don't know.

Antennatas are extremely hard to get to eat. You will need to start with something live, ghost shimp, guppies, or small mollies/fry will be good. I hope you have him in a qt/observation tank alone and not in the display, it will be much easier if you do. I've had an antennata for 3 years, he has very rarely eaten anything dead.

Hopefully the cloudy eyes are stress related, which does happen often. If you get him eating and settled in, the eyes will clear pretty quickly. If it's something bacterial, that can be a whole other story. They get flukes as well and cloudy eyes can be an indicator.
