Here is my new LTA, it will be the sole occupant of my 15 gallon cube with a pair of ocellaris there to call it home. The LTA will have a 70watt MH with 32 watt PC actinic, is that enough light?
The LTA is in about 1.5" of sand with live rock surrounding, will it be ok, or do I need to make the bed deeper?
The clowns were hosting the LTA at the LFS. They are now in QT for 45 days, undergoing Hyposalinity and parasite treatment. What is the best medication for worms? Any other treatment I should do while in QT? The larger clown is about 1.5" the small one may be 3/4. The small guy is hovering at the top ot the tank, is this normal? I vaccumed out all debris this morning, will do a water change this afternoon. Ammonia was between 0 and .25 this early am.
Here is a pic of the QT set up...
Tupperware is dripping RODI into the tank at a rate of about 0.5 gallons an hour. The salinity should reach the 1.009 by this evening, about 24 hours to bring them down, from 1.024.
And finally their final home:
that is my 15 gallon cube, under the 90 gallon display. This is the kids "Nemo" set up. The main and cube are plumbed in to a 55 gallon sump. More pics of the whole set up here: DIY 90 w/ cube
