New Macro Algae DT

Just set up a 10 gallon Macro tank. I have a standard tank light over it right now, but I plan on upgrading light to a Coralife T5 for freshwater. I am picking up as much macro as I can get, but do hope to put a lot in my 46 gallon DT as well. This tank is more about copepods and macro algae than anything. I am considering a small fish, but I would need something that won't take out all the copepods, because I am trying to supplement feeding with the copepods in this tank for a future Mandarine in the main DT. I would just love to have some sort of movement in the tank other than the swaying of the macro algae. Any ideas?

The tank was set up with black sand (not live) and about 10 lbs of live rock. The idea is to focus on the macro algae, not the rock. I originally set up the tank with too much rock because I'm used to setting up tanks for FO. I took out about 2/3 of what was in there and left it like this. Let me know what you think.
