new Macrodactyla doreensis

Just added a Macodactlyla to my tank and he keeps moving around. I tried to place on gravel but he would have nothing to do with it. Is it common for them to keep moving until it finds a good home.

Do you have a fine or course substrate?I find that they like a very fine substrate so not gravel.Try to dig a hole and put his foot in the hole with some rocks around his foot but not touching his foot.Also shut of any flow at this point to keep him from being blown around!
