New mag

So I ended up with a new mag from a local reefer who was going FOWLR. I wasn't sure, but saw the color and it was sort of an impulse trade. Now, its in my DT after a few days of QT with no deflating. The pic is during tank feeding (not the mag), so the PH were turned off. Just wanted to get thoughts on overall appearance of health, and what I want to be on the lookout for if it does get sick? I have a gig in the same tank, but they are a couple feet apart. I Know they like high light and flow, but is there a concern about too much light/flow, or is the thought they can move if there is too much? Tank is in good shape, and the gig is doing well, but wanted to make sure the mag ends up happy as well. Thanks in advance!

He's really cool. Nice yellow color! What color is his column?

He's not that healthy right now, but doesn't look bad at all. He needs to acclimate to your tank. Put him in a high flow area with a lot of light, and no...they love high flow and light unless they are sick. If sick, they need light only for short periods sometimes.

If he gets sick you will know. He's gonna deflate and mouth will gape open. Trust me, you'll know.

Also...he's gonna move around until he finds a spot he likes. Good luck with him! He's nice!
