New manits, please confirm ID

Hey Mike Jon, where did you find a peacock locally? I live in Irvine (your area). Sweet peacock btw. Is it fairly interactive? My smithii just sits in her burrow all day ><

I've actually always wondered that myself koshmar and i can't honestly say I have a good answer for that. It may be that it requires a lot of energy to have them, so if they aren't being put to use, they might as well not have them and reallocate that energy into growth or reproduction. but then why regenerate them afterwards? It might also be that since the rapts are basically one big muscle, that such amounts of stored energy might actually break down the limb from the inside for some biochemical reason (apoptosis maybe?)... who knows? Dr. Roy might, hopefully he chimes in.

yes Im sure. It takes a good while for it to happen and likely depends on a lot of other factors to boot though.

there are pretty much only two fish stores i shop at.. Tong's in fountain valley(better overall selection) and Seaside Tropical Fish 21162 Beach Blvd, Huntington Beach, CAý - (714) 969-0491ý. the peacock was $43 and they only had one, but im sure you could request one - just tell him you want the same one he sold last week to the "tall white boy" - he'll probably remember me as well as remembering to order the right mantis species. the liverock they sell has the best coloring too.
