New Mantis Hitchhiker Found

Just found a 2cm long mantis in my tank, it has been set up since january so he must have been so small when I got the LR. It is a purple pink hue color, I looked at the ID page and no luck. But I have a 20 gallon frag tank with some astreas and 2 hermits, will he become a threat to the inverts or coral? Also in the past month I have had 2 peppermints die/disappear along with a new blood red fire shrimp being badly injured enough to let me emerald crab come and eat him alive. It is possible my tiny 2cm mantis did this or was I right to assume the emerald crab is getting too big for my tank?

From What I have read they don't seem to bother corals. Inverts on the other hand...
If it's a smasher it will grow and eventually kill your snails, hermits etc...
If it's a spearer they prefer very deep sand to burrow in so may not be too happy unless this is provided...
Can you get a good look at it?
do its raptorial appendages (The arms right at the front of its body near it's head) seem pointy on the very ends? or bulbous?
