New maroons

Picked up 2 maroons last weekend and there getting along fabulous.Female is 2 1/2" males about 3/4" smaller.They have deciced to make a little nesting spot by removing sand in the far back corner.They never will leave that spot and I can never really view them.Is it a social thing with them or will they become less timid the longer that there in there and start socializing?

What size is your tank and how much rock do you have? i had a problem with mine staying behind my overflow box, once i added more l/r (120lbs total) they realy started to come out and enjoy it more. now if only they would host with my gbta.................
