Greetings.
I've recently moved to SW Virginia from Northern Ohio and was previously a member of a Cleveland area reef group. Of course, I had to close down my tank before the move and am planning a restart in the future. I previously had a 120 that I had drilled and modified as I learned more and more about reefkeeping. My reef was a 120 long and had really begun to come into it's own. I had added a refugium which was set to naturally overflow into the main tank. Had a small shoal of beautiful Lyretail Anthias that loved to hang around that area and graze on the tiny critters swept in the current from the fuge. Had soft and SPS corals plus many fish and inverts. Used an ASM G3+ skimmer in a 40 gal sump. Lighting was 2 DIY 250 Watt MH + 1 400 watt MH pendant fixture. As you well know, there was much, much more involved in that set up than I have listed! I will be in the market, over the coming year, for replacement equipment and eventually livestock. I have another 120 tank available from an Ohio friend, but most everything else will be replaced. I would like another ASM G3 or 4 for a Skimmer. I was very happy with the ASM and( of course) price is a consideration. Future lighting will be LED. I look forward to communicating with you all in the future. Happy Reefing!

Ha Ha, Jorge! How right you are. Abingdon was our first choice, but had trouble finding the right property. I picked Virginia for retirement after some traveling around the country. I love fly fishing, and am within driving distance of some great streams. My wife is from Bedford, so Va. is a natural fit. I've found one small saltwater shop in Kingsport, Tn. and am on the lookout for more. Not so much Reefkeeping here as in Ohio. Thanks to all for the welcome!
