New Montipora frag

I just recieved a new Red Montipora frag and Im wondering how I should attatch it to the rock work. Its pretty small but it seems to be healthy. Will it attatch itself or do I need to be making it a plug or ledge? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
 
Hello, if you have just recieved it, dont glue it yet.. let it stabalize for a week or two... then you can get some superglue GEL!.. very important... GEL... and glue it where you please...

best to take the rock you want it on out to glue the coral to it...

Super glue gel. Not toxic? Just never heard of that before but thats why I asked in the first place.

Ross Brand is best, it dries clear underwater...


But Any brand that is GEL is good..

I use Towerhobby's Cynoacrylic Glue myself.. and have had great results!

Most hard coral frags and some lps frags. The second way I do is this.

Flower pegs. Like you get when you get roses and they want to keep them watered.

Oh yes Ive seen those, cool idea. Dont know abou the Monti but my other zoo frags maybe. Course Id have to buy flowers to get some but Ill keep this in mind for next time.

Go to .. Towerhobby.com and click on Cynoacrylic Glue and find the Blue and white bottle of Thick CA Build It glue and get some


its 2oz for 5.99 plus a little bit for shipping... its worth it!
 
Yeah, well 20 frags requires a lot of glue. To make it worse we had a mix up at the cashier. Like 3 of the boxes were regular super glue, and the cashier just had to call 3 other people over to figure out the problem and then how to void the regular super glues. That combined with the people behind me asking why I need so much super glue made it an interesting night. Can you believe you have to be 18 to buy super glue?! AS well as Muriatic acid AND spraypaint. I hate people who do meth.
 
Heard of the sudafed behind the pharmacy counter but not the buy superglue in bulk. Its pretty sad, but good for the glue business.
 
They ask for I.D. when you buy a can of spray paint now? Sheesh, next thing you know you wont be able to buy a can of whip cream for fear of the Nitrous Oxide abuse.....
 
Uhhhhh, how old are you? THe reason why I ask is in the 80's the biggest free thrill was whippits. Inhaling the gas from whip cream cans. Been there and done that.
 
Kids do basically the same thing now, only they use the cans if stuff used to dust off a keyboard, Has actaully caused many deaths because the gas inside basically causes the brain to think you are drowning. But anyways my sister went to wally world to get some spraypaint for a school project, she is 17, and they would not let her get it. You have to be 18.
