New Montipora frag

Just don't let it fall into a colony of zoas. A stupid turbo snail knocked mine over, even though it was glued, right into an open zoa colony. Next thing I knew it had RTN. The frag was too small to frag again...

You should glue it right a way. If you wait your critters might knock it off and you might not find it again.
This happened allready. Its awash under my rock now I cant find it. Im going arm diving tonight to look for it with a turkey baster and a flashlight. My Clown thinks its a fish treat keeps grabbing it and flicking it off.

It will RTN if the coral get into the sand and stayed there long enough. So, you have to take it off the sand asap.

My clown keeps picking at it too. Things probaby allready dead. I keep placing it in new spots and it keeps ending up in the rocks. ticking me off. Ill have to glue this one for sure.

Flower pegs. Like you get when you get roses and they want to keep them watered.

Dr. Mac uses these, i ended up pulling them all off because i had white plactic caps all over my tank

Yea someone else posted the same pic. I dont have anyof these. I just put in an order for some Aqua stick at M.D. In the mean time I run a BB tank so its just gonna have to sit in the corner and behave til the glue comes. Cant find any of the super glue gel around the local stores. Teying one other tonight I might get lucky.

psst... aquamend at HD works as well as the aqua stick at half the price. You will still need some cynoacrylate glue. The epoxies have very little adhesive qualities.

Roger that. I got some Super glue gel last night. Took up some rock dried it off with a hair dryer (My wife loves when I do that) then took it to the bench grinder and made some flats, super glued my frags to them and they are secure. Even located the missing Monti frag floating aimlessly under the rocks and put him on a new ledge. Sweet. I paid 1.97 the glue. Well worth the efforts. Thanks everyone for the advice its all good. I can relax now.

Glad to hear it worked out in the end. I've had cap frags go through some super wild adventures in my tanks and never really had an issue with death from the "expeditions" though.
