New MP40 WES dry side noise

So I'm a little surprised. This is a 400+ item and the dry side is noisy no matter if at full throttle or on the lowest setting. My glass is 1/4 inch so I've adjusted the pin spacer so that the cord is in line with the 1/4 spot (though I find that when I put the spacer in, the rubber pushes against the cord). I then put the rubber gasket on the glass and aligned the wet and dry side. The wet side doesn't have vibrational noise. Just the dry side that produces noise regardless of speed.

So should I try to readjust the pin spacer or remove the rubber gasket from the glass? Is this some defect with the bearing inside the dry side?

Give it about 2 weeks to break in, can't here mine at all.

I've heard about the break in, but I think that some pumps are just louder than others. I know this from experience with my two MP-40s. One is nothing but problems.

I would recommend putting the pump in constant mode and starting at the lowest speed. Gradually increase the speed over the course of two weeks, then enter your desired mode and speed. If this does not resolve the issue, please contact us directly.
