New MUSHROOMS!

Sooo... I was at Fishes of Eden the other day and noticed some really nice mushrooms. Lately I've been a fan of mushrooms... especially Ricordias! I've got a few Ricordia FL and they are nice... but the Yumas have always been eye candy for me. Anyways, enough chit chat... here are pictures. These were taken with my girlfriend's Canon SD500. Some of the pictures I have no idea what setting it was on.

VERY nice! i told you it was a good camera pics come out the best using a tripod, 2 second timer and no flash. but thats pretty much the case with MOST cameras.

I have a tripod, but it was giving me a hard time with positions. lol...

Anyways, yeah I'm really inpressed with the macro. In fact, I went to Best Buy and CC to test the SD630 and was very impressed with it! Might end up buying one... but there are plenty of other options. What a deal they have for the SD630 right now... $330 and th SD700 is $399 which has a bigger lens = better macros.

if you can wait, you can find the sd700 for about 350 shipped online

after tax in store your looking at about 425.


i was going to buy it, but i didnt jump on it in time. and the price went back up.

i really want to upgrade to it soon, and get an underwater hosing for it.

but dang, just looked at the sd630.. 3" lcd. drool lol. i think 2.5" would still be an upgrade for me.

lol, I need to do more research before I jump on any camera. This one has to last me for a year or two. I really like the SD630, its clean and very sleek. But with a bigger lens on the SD700... I am willing to turn head. Circuit City is always having a sale, so I can wait. I wonder if BrandsMart will give us a good deal on two SD700

I have the DSC-P10, it's the camera that I usually use to take pictures. All these high-tech cameras are pointless unless you know how to use them to their full potential. I'm a point-and-shoot kind of guy.

Ooh...ooh...I want in. My Olympus C-50 is awesome. 6.1 MP, macro mode(w/ or w/o flash anb zoom), supermacro mode(w/o both priorstated options), great for taking super close up shots. Here are a couple examples(I'm not a great cameraman, but you get the idea):

Granted, they are not $1000 camera good, but they are very for the price I paid, somewhere just over $200.

Not bad, but I think if you mess around with it a little more you can get clean pictures. Some of them look blurry, maybe a trupod can fix that?

its always good to check that site before buying from an online store that you are unfamilar, reviews are pretty bad for that site. good price tho!

these are from an sd500, havent really taken many pics with it, so maybe youve seen them before.

Pretty nice. I love nice and sharp pictures. The only thing I need to work on is the color balancing... when I learn how to do that I will be happy.
