I am thinking that it is an BTA (( E. Quadricolor )).

It does look a bit like a bta doesn't it? I guess when the OP said they switched it up a bit from a "rose split outbreak" I assumed he had changed species.

What species was it sold to you as?

I thought that too, but at looking at the foot closer, I see more BTA, then LTA.

to the OP: you said you had a rose split outbreak? What exactly do you mean? If this is, in fact, a BTA (E. Quadricolor) as suspected, the care is exactly the same which means the possibility of splitting is equal. Splitting can be either a sign of extremely favorable conditions (in which case the nem is typically quite large, and may split once), or stress induced (said BTA is generally much smaller, and may split multiple times in rapid succession).
