to the OP: you said you had a rose split outbreak? What exactly do you mean? If this is, in fact, a BTA (E. Quadricolor) as suspected, the care is exactly the same which means the possibility of splitting is equal. Splitting can be either a sign of extremely favorable conditions (in which case the nem is typically quite large, and may split once), or stress induced (said BTA is generally much smaller, and may split multiple times in rapid succession).
