Just received my Kalk Reactor from Reeftek today......Looks like they have redesigned the unit......now if they only had a easy way to fill it (Geo).......Give me time I will rework it

Word gets around......Received a email from Reeftek about the post:

Brian,
I read your post on Reef Central and wanted to mention why we don’t have a fitting for adding lime to the reactor without removing the lid. The reactor will hold a pound of lime without problem which will last (depending on the tank size) for over a month and maybe more. Imagine having to add 1 pound of lime trough a 2 inch hole (lime is messy). Loosening up the thumb screws, twisting the lid and removing it will take less than a minute which we think is no time when you have to do it just a few times a year. If you had to add lime multiple times a week it would be a different story and we would provide an easier way to do it. Thanks again for choosing ReefTek.

Well here's the first mix......Have the Aquacontroller setup for 4 times daily 1 minute each mix...only started with a 1.5 cup of kalk power....to see if I have my timers correct
