New ocellaris clowns... Few questions about them

Ok, so i got 2 aqua cultured ocellaris clowns from saltwaterfish.com and they were swimming around right out of the shipping box. They look really healthy and swim around the tank 24/7.

they have been in my tank for about 3 days
My questions:
1.) Is it ok that one is 2.5" and the other is around 1.5"? They normally swim around together and usually get along. sometimes I notice that they come face to face and the big one nips the little one in the side and then does a funny little dance... nothing harmful though.

2.) the small one is more yellow than orange when compared to the larger one. Is this normal?

3.) They seem to be hesitant to eat still. Tuesday and Wednesday they would bite things then spit them out, yesterday they nibbled on some stuff. today they are eating a little more but not pigging out like i would assume a normal established fish would do. I have tried frozen mysis, brine, spirlina stuffed brine, cyclops, formula 1 flakes and formula 2 pellets... they seem to only eat the flakes and pellets. they seemed to have ate a few cyclops but not much... thank got for my nice clean up crew

For question #1, that kind of nipping, and the smaller one doing its "dance" is the both of them establishing themselves as a pair. This is normal. But, good for you! In a few weeks you will have an established pair.

For question #2, the two color variants between the two clowns, is not a bad thing, however if it is a real yellow, and not orange at all, you will have to see how it developes, as it may have been a true percula clown that they had sent you instead (doubt it though). Otherwise it is not (shouldn't be) a problem.

In regards to the question about the food, I really can't speak from experiance there as all the fish that I have ever bought have eaten like pigs since the first day. So maybe someone else will chime in on this topic......

The thing about food is weird... they get excited every time i add food, but they swim up to it and bite it and then spit it out.... and then continue to swim around looking for food it wants. thats why i tried everything because they seem like they want to eat. I read that this can be a sign of internal parasites but they are not showing any other signs. They are super active, swimming in the currents like they are playing and when ever i move the magnetic glass cleaner, they stair at it like its magic. They're funny fish.

They seem to like the formula 2. which is also funny because they try to chase it before it hits the bottom, but once it hits the sand they act like it disappears and they look around for it but never find it.

I would give a call to saltwaterfish.com and see what they were feeding them and go out get that food, then once you konw they are eating, start mixing it with the food you want them to start eating. Thats what I woud do IMO.

i was thinking about that. if they dont start eating what i give them this weekend i'll call them first thing on monday
