New old 55gal

I have just begun to start switching my old 55gal freshwater setup to saltwater. I wanted to know if there is anything special I need to do to clean the 55gal aquarium? I scrubbed it with a glass algae abrasive pad and some water, is there anything else I should do?

To clean it up some more you can put it on a side at a time and put a small layer of vinegar on it and let it sit and it will clean anything else up you missed.

Make sure there haven't been any copper treatments in the tank.

Vinegar is the way to go? Awesome, I figured that was the case from another thread I saw, but I just wanted to double check.

There have been no copper treatments. I did not buy it used, the tank has been mine since it was new, so I know exactly where it's been and what's been in it.

Yes, vinegar is a reef-safe cleaner. You can use it from time to time to clean powerheads and other equipment as well.
