New or Used Bulb!?

Is this a used or a new bulb? Please help me identify.

I didnt actually know this until just now.....but I just went and looked at a bunch of radiums I have running, and three different BNIB ones and noticed that the orange will burn out to varying shades of clearish to even blackish on the ends once used for a spell

funny I never noticed that before as I use lotsa bulbs

The wires and a mark at the end of the bulb looked burn. Is it normal?

yes, its normal

when I first read your post I was going to say that it is impossible to tell from your pic for certain if the bulb is new or not, but just that if you bought it from a reputable source it is probably new.......

Then for kicks....I went and looked at 8 others that I have running, a few others that are retired, and three brand new ones and came to the conclusion that if you see orange.......its new.

As I said above....kinda funny with the number of radiums I use I didnt know that already without looking.

Thanks. I bought it cheap on eBay. The description said new, but I am a bit doubtful that it's too good to be true. I guess I was lucky.
