New ORA offerings

Nevermind, I suppose the linked site is blocked. Cool offerings though. On the same site I also saw were ORA is now offering tank raised red Goniopora too.

As cool as that would be, I'm trying not to add any fish or coral until I get my GHA under control once again. I have it stabilized and maybe even improving, but I still have a fair distance still to go.

I just find it exciting to see more fish being captive bred and more coral becoming sustainable. The other day I saw were BlueZooAqautics is offering some captive bred Tangs. That was a pleasant surprise for me as I didn't know anyone had produced tangs in captivity.

I really doubt they have captive bred Tangs. As a matter of fact I know they don't. Tank raised Tangs, yes but the two are completely different. Tank raised just means they were collected from the wild at a very early juvenile stage and raised in a tank until mature. This in no way means they are breeding Tangs in captivity.

Ahh, good info. I read tank raised but my brain processed it as tank breed.

Even though they are not tank breed, tank raising them from larva or just beyond that still seems like a step in the right direction. I would imagine that should be better suited for the home tank than a wild caught specimen.
