New Owner Questions?

Ok, I've read the faqs and all the threads here, but can't find answers to a couple of questions. I have just installed two Vortechs on a 4X2X2 120G at each end of the tank. The alignment and configuration was fairly simple and at the moment I have them set as master/slave with the slave in anti-sync in Lagoon Random mode. Looking at the chart of what this means seems to indicate that the master pump should stay close to the maximum most of the time. My first question is what is the timeframe represented by that chart and the second is what should the slave be doing in anti-sync, staying low most of the time? Will the slave ever go to the maximum and the master go towards the minimum? Would it make more sense to have them in sync if using the Lagoon Random mode?

The charts represent a time frame of approximately one hour and you are correct that the pumps will stay close to their maximum for the majority of the time.

A slave in anti-sync/lagoon mode would be at the minimum speed for most of its time on.

Ok, thanks for the reply. I'll put the slave in sync mode and try that.
