The tank is a 24 gallon with a 10 gallon sump. I drilled and built a custom internal overflow. The 10 gallon sump is split via a tank divider. One half is a fuge and the other half contains the return pump and a CPR back pak skimmer. For lighting i have a current usa outer orbit, its 150 watt mh and 4 actinics. It started off as a softie tank not im getting into SPS.
Im looking into chillers atm, dont really want to spend that much. I was looking at the ice probe micro chiller, im just not sure it will do enough. Apparently it only drops the temp by a couple degrees. We have no central air but i do have a window ac unit i plan on having in the room. Im just worried that if that goes out my tank will overheat and ill lose everything. All it takes is the breaker to blow or the ac get unplugged or burns out and i got big problems.
