New Pieces, No ID's

MechEng99

aka Reef'd Up
I just picked these up at the Cleveland Frag Swap, and was hoping maybe I could have some help identifying them! Any and all help would be appreciated! Thank you!

#4 - Was told it was a "bonsai"

#3 looks like a acro millepora.

Is #4 the purple bonsai from that guy with buy 3 and get a discount? It's originally from GARF I believe and sorry I don't have a scientific name for it.

I figured #3 was a mille, but figured I'd throw it on here since I'm here anyway. :)

Yes, #4 is from the guy with the 3 purchase discount (YZ). He said he wasn't sure it was from Garf, but thought it might be. Did you pick one up too? I thought it was too pretty to pass up, regardless.

No he only had the one frag of it and I sat there for 20 or so minutes trying to decide between that or the efflo. Now that I have the efflo home I decided I made the wrong decision. :D

Hey, MechEng, very cool stuff!

Yeah, the third is either A. millipora or A. prostrata. Too small to differentiate. I had a piece that I thought was a milli, but turned out to be A. spicifera! Frags all look alike:eek: !

The 'bonsai' is probably A. valida, which has those slightly swollen radials.. Beautiful colouring. The only other Acro with these carallites that I've seen is A. aculeus, but it tables.

Number two is fascinating! Can't wait to see how this developes. It reminds me of A. parilis, but I'm just not sure.

The first kid needs to grow, but looks like A. exquisita.

Sounds like I made the right choices at the swap!

The first is a dull pink with the tips starting to have a blue hue...figured I'd take a chance.

Number two is my favorite. It just didn't remind me of anything I'd seen before. It has a lovely tealish color with a baby blue tip. The structure is so delicate! I wish my photography skills were better!

Thanks for your help Jamie! I'm sure this won't be the last time. LOL. I'll post updates when these get bigger!
