just purchased a powder blue tang from kermits reef feb ,26th that was sunday ,it looked great i looked it over good no flaws it looked great and was eating red kelp and other algae in the tank then tuesday morning when my lights come on at 8;15am i noticed my tang had something wrong with him ive never seen this before ,he looked like he had bubbles under his skin not his fins ,and it is not see thru it looks like when you try to wall paper and get air behind it , all over both his sides very strange, i put some extreme garlic in my tank, thats all i could do at the time i had to go to work, then when i came home that night it was barely noticeble , you could still tell where the bubbles were because the color was slightly faded, i called kermits reef and the guy there didnt know what it could be ,maybe brooknelia he said ,then when i got up this morning the bubbles were back ,so it goes away during the day ,but comes back in the morning ,my tank is 75 gallon with red sea skimmer, over the tank cascade 300 filter , cascade 700 canister filter , and sponge filter, and 2 nemo clowns and a anthias and a yellow goby and a lawn mower blennie and hermit crabs maybe 5 and some snails and toadstool leather and gonipora and some yellow polyps and purple mushrooms and green stripe mushrooms and some xenias and long tent plate coral and long tent anemone my water reads ph-8.2 ,ammonia-0 , nitrite-0 ,nitrate -10 could the nitrate be my problem ,need some help i should never have got the fish because they are so diffilcult and expensive ,but i didnt know it was this diffilcult ,thanks for your help, patsy
