would this light be ok on a 120 gallon 4x2x2.

All I am really putting in it are soft corals fish inverts and zoa's.

The corals would need to be within the first 15-20" of water depth. I also think your tank is a little wide for one fixture so maybe two fixtures would be a better choice to give you full coverage front to back.
 
Would one of the 48-60 inch lights be ok on a 75 gallon with a few soft corals in them. i currently have a 48 inch ecoxtoic stunner strip that would be on as well.

Soft Corals should fare well under this light. Just be sure to place the corals carefully based on lighting needs.
 
I got a few of these, as mu friend changed his mind and I picked his up.

Will this light be ok over a freshwater tank with live plants?

The color spectrum is specifically made for reef aquariums but it can be adjusted using the included controller.

You might want to check out the Aquaticlife EDGE fixture for a planted tank.

Planted tanks typically use 6500K - 10000K colored light.

Adjust the 445nm/460nm actinic blue LED's down to a minimal setting and increase the 8,000K/12,000K White LED's to the maximum which should provide a perfect spectrum for plants.
 
Shame. I was hoping the ramp time could be longer. Can it be programmed to ramp down to a certain intensity, stay there for some time, then ramp down to darkness?
 
Will the 48"-60" 46 watt model of this light be sufficient for my 55 gallon tank ? Or would I have to supplement with an additional 36"-48" model ??
I have 18" of water depth, about 21" from the bottom of the light fixture to my substrate.
I have blue mushrooms towards the bottom of my tank.
A large frogspawn middle of my tank. A Haitian anemone, zoanthids, pulsing xenia.
Thinking of getting a rose bulb anemone ???
I currently have 2x54watt 10k & 2x54watt 420/460nm T5HO....SICK OF BUYING BULBS !
Wanting to go LED on a budget.

The 48" - 60" would provide ample light for low-medium light corals in a 55 gallon aquarium. I would only suggest a supplement if you plan on keeping higher light demanding corals such as SPS. Anemones tend to move to a position where lighting and flow are desirable so this should not be a problem.

Being that you will need to acclimate your corals slowly to LED light, it is probably a good idea to start with the single fixture. Then 6-8 weeks down the road you can re-evaluate and add another fixture if need be.
 
i've decided to give the 48-60 inch version a try. that is when i can get my hands on one, the LFS cant keep them in stock bc they are flying off the shelves
