Yes this is a MACNA release product

There is way more on this to follow, sorry not in position to share details at present, but its market changing HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think its a sort of push to phase out Profilux II since you would only be able to use this touch screen with latest version of GHL Profilux III.

No the Plus II is not being phased out, in fact after Macna there will be an announcement for the NA market about the Plus II making it more accessable to even more controller users.

The ProfiLux plus II is the main stay of the ProfiLux range and is the building blocks of the ProfiLux controller.

Not every user wants all the features the P3 has to offer so why should they have to pay for it. However the Plus II is upgradeable to the P3 so if the user in the future wishes to upgrade they do not have to buy a complete new controller.

This flexibility is what has made GHL the leading global brand it is today.

As the features of the Touch have not yet been released I think it is a bit early to start thinking about what it will not bring to the controllers functionality and second guess what further features will be introduced.

I can say this, no it will not be wireless directly. However as it is PAB controlled I am not sure if it can be bridged, for that even i do not have this info.

Hopefully the interface will make it easier to reach some of the menus. I hate having to hook up my laptop to change settings. And clicking buttons on the actual P3 unit is pretty maddening.

the Touch will give you direct access so pc and laptop would not be required for programming.

saw this at MACNA today, and all I can say is WOW. sure makes it easy to get things going. Granted it was only a "sketch up", but what they have so far is promising. Why are so many people on here so negative. They give you something new and the first comment is they should have done this instead. There track record speaks for it self. If it useful they will add it. To recife111 they do have new software coming out very soon. From what I saw it is very intuitive. It looks to be easy for new users to get into the basics very quickly, and allowing experienced users more control.
