New pump is a no go

Anyone have any ideas. The lights come on, but the prop does not spin. Followed the instructions to a "T"

Does the prop on the wet side spin easily by hand?

If you disconnect the wet side does the dry side spin when plugged in?

What color light is the driver displaying when you plug it in?

I did not try to power it up without the wet side connected as the manual said if these pieces were to become disconnected, it would shut down. The prop does spin freely with my hand as well as the magnet on the dry side.

If you are talking about the teeny tiny light at the bottom of that window...it appears to be red over green. It's so damn small I can't really tell.

another issue...did you place the spacer on perfectly and in the correct setting?

The spacer is on as good as I can get it and the setting is correct. I measured the front pane of glass at 1/2" set the spacer to that...nothing...then looked at the side pane and it was actually only 3/8" so I re-did it to 3/8"....nothing. I assumed all panes were the same size which is why I only measured the front pane. I was wrong.

I made sure all the air was out and even left the thing plugged in for 20 minutes to see if it had to reset itself possibly. At 1 in the morning I decided to call it quits and stop messing with it.

Keep the thread updated, I just had a similar experience. The driver was defective. Only the second ever, I was told. When the new one gets here I hope it works.

3 is a charm then I guess. Just sent some emails back and forth with Tim and he is replacing the driver for me. Said it's less than 1% that these are bad.

I will update as things are put in place.

We've shipped nearly a thousand of the wireless drivers so far, a few issues popping up is the standard. Considering the product is brand new too I'd say we're doing great with such a tiny defect rate.

Regardless, thanks for your patience with the issue.

No problem Tim. Just relaying what I learned today. ;)

I imagine there will be bugs to work and understandably so.
