New Pump Noise Problem

Roger,

I just got the Stream kit with a pair of 6000's and the 7095 controller. While everything is working, one of the pumps is making a rapid clicking sound when it's in operation...like if you placed something in the spokes of a moving bicycle.

Is there an adjustment I can make to try to remedy the problem or is this a case for an RMA with the supplier or a warranty repair with Tunze?

I'm going to record the sound...let me know if you'd like me to send it to you to aid in the diagnosis.

Seems that one of the pieces of the impeller assembly had come loose in shipping. I've re-set the piece and the unit is much quieter now. However, while the noise has been cut significantly, it's still there...rapid clicking.

My concern is that, while it's much quieter now, it's still there, so I'm concerned about what it'll be like in 6 months or a year.

Any suggestions?

They are always noisier to start in a couple weeks most of the noise should be gone. Wait and see.
