Just brought home a new s.gig from the LFS. Pretty bleached but a nice purple to go with my blue gig. Gonna observe it in HT for a couple days and add meds if necessary. Pics attached of acclimation to the HT, enjoy!







Going to place the purple on the opposite side of the tank to contrast the blue.

Very nice! He looks good, but with his mouth like that I would be ready to treat if he deflates even once. He may just be stressed from transport without infection. Give it a day or two, if no improvment, you'll know he needs to be treated.

Those blue mushrooms are a real eye catcher. Love em!

Thanks. If you notice in the pics with the puffy mouth the water level is real low, that's during drip acclimation. The mouth closed up afterwords. Gonna keep a close eye on it the next couple days though.

Under reef lighting it appears to be purple/blue which is slightly disappointing since I already have the full blue gig. It is very bleached though so, should be interesting to see how it colors up over time.
