New Queen in the house..

I'm goin to try adding some zoas, and shrooms to the QT to see how she acts. Hopefully somewhat reef safe. :reading::worried:

What size is it? Looks very small. As they grow zoas will be gone for sure, I'm not sure about shrooms.

beautiful fish! i have a juvi/changing queen in my observation tank with a rock with 4 mushroom polyps on it and she doesnt even look at them. in a week or so i am going to add some zoas to see how she does in there. that will basically decide on either she goes in my fowlr or reef tank lol. more than likely tho she will go in the fowlr

I like your fish, very nice! My experience with an emp angel QT'd in a reef - zoas are toast. It was the puffer in the same QT at a different time that decimated every single mushroom - there were hundreds! Not sure what a queen will do, but I'll bet it likes zoas, for a nice little appetizer.

She's about 1.5- 2", and the tank is a 29. I've had decent luck with breaking the fish "rules" so it's worth a try.

Plus, she was on sale for $45 at the lfs, and I couldn't say no. The pink tail in the pic is going into a friends tank.
