I'm so excited. I just purchased my first anemone from a fellow RC member. It's a bright red/pink bubble tip, amazingly gorgeous. I didn't know they were flourescent. It's amazing this thing made it. He sent it out USPS Express mail. It was supposed to get to me overnight but instead took two days! It's been cold here, well cold for SC, down into the low 40s. It was held over in Florida where it was chilly considering it's Florida. It arrived cold with its stomach pushed out. It was still alive though thanks to the excellent packing job. It was in a thermos inside a styro box packed with styro peanuts. It probably held the temperature for the first day. Anyway it's puffed up and looking super healthy. I'm so excited.

Good luck with it!

My friend brought her clowns 3 hours back to school in her car with the heal on full blast, and somehow the water she had in the tank with them ended up cold enough that she couldn't keep her hand in it, somewhere around 50 degrees. Both clowns and the shrimps appear to be fine three days later now, it's crazy.

Funny you say that Random Aquarist. I got this anemone to start a propagation business. I purposely waited to find a tank raised specimen to be sure it was sturdy and I may have hit the jackpot with this one. I have its clone arriving in a week or so. Wish us luck.

Good luck with the BTA I'm in the process of setting up a mixed BTA/ coral tank in my 75 a little scary but Ive seen some mixed tanks that do fine.
