New Red Sea Max 29g cube.

I would be interested if it was a little smaller. But to me, a 30g tank isn't really much of a nano. If they made a 14g version I would be intrigued. A few problems though. One, I would bet money it's gonna be expensive. They are throwing a lot in to it. I would be shocked if it was under $350. That seems a little steep for what you are getting. Two, it seems to be too much of an all in one. Timers, lighting, skimmer...if any of that stuff goes you are probably screwed. And last.....it's a Prism guys. It's not like the skimmer is even worth a damn. If I was looking at something in the gallon range, I would probably do the Biocube with the Tunze. Anyone know if the Tunze fits in the 14g Biocube?

if you guys look close the lighting on that nano is actually PC which i guess is technically T5 (5/8" bulb ) but they are still Pc lights. They are just trying to get on the T5 wagon. The difference in the Pcs and T5 are the quality of the reflectors. Pc reflectors are just not as efficient as the t5 because of the PCs weird shape.

thease are HO T5's

If you look at this page http://www.red-sea-max.co.uk/new_page_1.htm you will see a pic of the lights and they seem to have the "connection" ,between the two tubes, on the right side that PC's have. Also, it doesn't look like there are any endcaps on that side. 24" T-5s are only 24 watts each, not 55.

"T5s are a type of PCs, I though everyone knew that."
While yes, this is common knowledge, but when a hobbyist is told it has T-5's I don't think PC's are the first thing to come to mind. When I am told a person is running T-5's the first thing I think of are T-5 HO's:rolleyes: Maybe I'm just not very bright:D (pun intended).

The connection in the middle allows the gas in the bulb to light continuously. Its like folding a longer bulb in half. The type of gas used varies the output. In this case High Output.
