Just wanted to share the info. Just saw the a new store by my house. It's on Willow Crest Avenue and Burbank Blvd., by Cahuenga. (Same area as the old Aquarium Works) in North Hollywood. Store looks promising and the lady there is really nice. They have a lot of zoas as well.

You are talking about Deep Blue Aquarium. Hong is the owner and his family is super nice and cool. I honestly love the place and they do have a very sweet coral collection.

Hong is a good guy!! I've bought livestock from him and it's good stuff. He's getting a better selection of SPS and LPS and zoos every time I go in there.
He has a bag sale similar to PTF on Sunday's.

honestly Deep Blue Aquarium is a really great place. It is 100% family oriented, you'll catch Hong or the Mom & Pops with a younger kid watching the iPad family working daily. All pricing is very good. Follow them on Facebook to see Fish list deals or call and ask for any fish you can think of and Hong will get it. Heard there was really good deals on XR radions and other EcoTech products

Sundays for a few hours they have fish in bag sale. Good stuff.

All supplements are standard price

Heres a few things I've bought before. Cant remember everything +Tax.

200g Bag Red Coral Sea Pro $55
Small/Medium Rose Bubble Anemone $25
10-11" Carpet Anemone $30
Small Blue Hippo Tang $20
Small/Medium Copperband Butterfly $18
Blue Linckia Starfish $8
Red Formia Starfish $8
Mandarin Dragon $20
Green Spotted Mandarin $15
Mangrove $6 stick
Plastic Feeder with Claw $5

Saw this Large Space Invader for $450
they have a $10-30 Zoa/Mixed Rack that goes to $120 Many head Acans etc.

Their SPS is being worked on more and more.

I was mainly looking at their zoa collection and they range from $10-30. I didn't ask for the bigger colonies. They have sps as well. As for fish, the lady said that you can ask to order. They don't seem to have lots of fish. It's a nice mom and pop store.

Sorry for the late reply.

I swung on by today, omw home. its a quaint little store i must say.

First impressions.
Quite a bit of coral, very weak selection of fish.
Their tanks, are not very clean, but the lady there was extremely helpful and friendly. She followed me around the store and asked if i had any questions.
Prices are quite good. 200 gal IO reef crystals, was 45. I believe their Red sea foundation test kit was 37, I should have taken pictures. They had a decent collection of coral, sps, lps, zoo's.
They didnt stock regular I/O, but told the lady, it would be a good idea, as thats probably the most used salt on the market. I was surprise they had a pretty good selection of equipment. Definitly not sps coral store, but i would say better known brand to us saltwater guys than rainbow. They stocked some BRS branded stuff, kalkwasser, and magnesium. I also saw a reef octopus skimmer. So definitly headed the right direction. I think if they cleaned up their tanks a bit, and brought in a slightly better selection of fish.. hmm maybe potential.

I asked them to order me a yellow coris wrasse, i'll see how that comes along and let you guys know.

Their hours are 12p - 8p...and I will definitely check them out soon. Unfortunately, I'll be at work until Wednesday morning.

Thanks for this thread. I'm always looking for new and exciting places with killer deals.
