New Reef Store

I just went to the new wholesaler that opened up on stirling. Its called Coral Reef Farm Exotics . They aren't really set up for retail, but I spoke to the two owners ( REAL NICE GUYS) and they are willing for only a short period of time to sell to the Fmas club members. Both of them are real knowledgeable and know what they are talking about. Remember though they are wholesalers so don't go by to order 1 frag. Try and do a decent size order so we don't lose this contact. They are located at . 2848 Stirling rd #D Phone #954-929-4544
To get there go stirling west to the first light and make a U turn. Make a right into the parking lot at the subway. Go to the end and make a left they are on the right. I hope this helps a few of you.

BTW they just set them selves up to soon be RC sponsors to so lets help they get rolling here in South Florida

Hey are we still trying to do a group buy, maybe this is a place we could look into for that too.....

Thank you for the kind words Joe,we do more

I have to say of the many shops I have gone to, I don't know of many LFS ( sorry to use that evil word to describe you Dave. it really doesn't come close to the type of store you run) who know as much as these guys when it comes to our industry. These guys really go out of their way to school/teach and explain why and why not. I have never seen them push product or items unneeded EVER.
Also remember they are just opening so give them some time to expand their lines. I may be wrong but if there is something special your looking for they can get pretty much get anything for you.
As a side note they don't deal in low grade corals. These guys don't skimp on buying premium stock so keep that in mind when you go there and price items.

i would also have to agree. These guys know what they are doing. Premium corals and fish at a reasonable price. Plus friendly to do business with 5 star.

I am glad they are not retail :) I would hate to see there prices then. I will have to stop by and see the grow out facility. That would be cool.

I dropped by the other night also. Very nice place. I picked up a little bit of rock to top off my 180 after the recent move (what a pain!?!). I would encourage all to check this store out.

I find it awfull suspicious when a user who did not exist before their initial post go and endorse a new store's ratings with the community. Wouldn't you say that was a little strange Jef...er um Shockme?

Pretty cheesy guys

I think this would be an excellent time for me to direct everyone to take a look at the User Agreement everyone here agrees to when they join Reef Central.
As we encounter new issues, the UA sometimes changes. It's a good idea for everyone to keep current, but it's even more important for those with commercial interests.
beariedog,

I wish you guys all the best, and I encourage everyone here to support their LFSs, providing they are worthy of support. To avoid problems down the road, please do follow my advice above, and familiarize yourself with our UA, rules are a little different for the commercial member.

pdavies,
At this point, I have no reason to question shockme's integrity. Would you like me to cast doubt at anyone that showed up here and made their first post in favor of your store? It does go both ways.
I do have a little more to work with than you do, and I understand why you would wonder about that post, but I have to wonder if you just cost yourself a customer.
In any case, I can't allow you to jump on new members here simply because you think something is up. That's why you have me.

shockme,
[welcome]

Now, just incase it slipped by anyone, I don't like these LFS threads, especially when LFS owners join in. It appears that the flip side of this hobby is an extremely competitive business. All too often, I catch LFS owners acting in nefarious ways as pdavies
eluded to above. The commercialism degrades the feeling of community, and at times the quality of the information posted here.

Have not dropped by yet, but am looking forward to!!

Take care homies... Play nice!! ;)
