My name is Dan. After several years of break from the hobby, I'm building a new reef.
This is the place where I want to put the aquarium:
This is eventually what I want to achieve:
As you can see, access to the aquarium is only from the front and I have no almost no space a sides.
I bought a new reefer 425XL white with 2 Hidra 26 lights fixtures (a.k.a Reefer 425XL delux).
Now I want to buy the rest of the required equipment and I would like to get your feedback about the following:
1. Skimmer - Tunze 9410 (or maybe 9415?)
2. Return pump - Jebao DCP-8000 ECO with Controller
3. Wave makers - 2 X Sicce XStream 8000
What do you think? any other (not very very expensive) ideas?
In addition, I would like to understand the following:
1. What is the best way to split the return pump also to a chiller
2. Considering the chiller will be behind the wall, to where it should return water to? the skimmer chamber? the return pump chamber?
