I should probably be in the "new to hobby" area, but I have a specific mollusk question......
Are Florida fighting conches good for diatom clean-up and sand-sifting? Any problems with them in reefs, like eating corals, killing other snails, etc ?
I can't say for fighting conches, but I have a queen conch. Zero problems. He just wanders around the sand bed cleaning up diatoms. Seldom wanders on the rock or glass though. Doesn't kill anything.
Fighting conches will get quite large, though not as large as a queen, so make sure you don't get too many.
