New Rose Bubble Anemone looks wierd

I just got this but the color looks weird.. It's got white spots and is more orange than red..

Reefdom, my RBTA is identical to yours! I always thought it looked different from all the other pics I'd seen. Got mine about 4 months ago from SeaCrop when it was about 1 1/2" diameter-very tiny. It now is about 5-6" diameter. Very pretty with a dark purple/red base. Mine has never split.

Looks very much like mine, except mine is slightly more white and "marbled" towards the center. At first I thought it was unhealthy but it has opened up about twice as large as when it came from the LFS a couple of weeks ago.

I guess we all got lucky?

I just spent $70 on a new red rose anemone and he wierd looking ; ) white speckled green tip anemone split.. Now I have 3..

I guess I need more clowns

I have two myself, but they are green with white all over them. Nothing "weird" about yours at all.

Whether or not this is true, I cannot say... but I have heard that the marbeled BTA's come from Vietnam. It is certainly a very pretty color morph - I have seen similar BTA's locally and they always go for a hefty premium versus "regular" rose BTA's.
