New Scribbled Angel

Just picked up a scribbled from a new LFS. HE gets his stock from Quality Marine so I'm optimistic it will do well. Evidently they had them on special and I was able to get a great price. It's prob about 2" so maybe not too small. The bag was marked MAC certified. Does anyone know what that means? It's going into a 75 qt with a baby tusk I got from DD a couple weeks ago.

And the tusk...

The angel is doing really well today. Very active, not too shy and is eating reef frenzy so I am happy so far.

What a beauty! Ted (Humaguy) has had great success with LRF and keeps all sorts of rare angels... Don't think you can go wrong with the stuff

Two week update... Still doing very well. Very active and eats the Reef Frenzy and the Nano very well. The tusk is doing great too, probably had it about a month now. I haven't treated either with anything. I would really rather not but what is the consensus on proactive treatment? They are showing now signs of any problems.

I for one proactively treat all fish whether that's thru tank transfer method or chloroquine phosphate for ich and velvet and Prazipro for flukes and internals

Thanks for the info. Im gonna keep them in QT for quite a while longer before I move them to the 180 anyway so I may treat before I move them.

Just an update, its been almost 3 months. The scribbled and the tusk are both doing great. They have both grown, especially the Tusk. They are evidently pretty tough fish. I had an ammonia issue in the qt that killed a rabbitfish but the angel and tusk survived fine and eat great. I am loving the reef frenzy food. Also, it has been reef safe so far with LPS zoas and xenia. Hopefully that will continue
