For the first time in 150 years researchers have found a new species of Sea Dragon. Species Phyllopteryx dewysea has a unusual ruby red skin coloration. The species lives in deep waters off the southern coast of Australia and is found at depths of 236ft or more, unlike other Sea Dragons found at depths of 108ft or so.
