I recently got a sea hare and I put it in my tank that’s being run over by hair algae… well the thing is that ever since I put him in the tank I can’t seem to find him any where. Should I be worried? It's been 3 days now.

I woke up today @ 0500 to try and find it but still no luck... The reason I'm worried is that I recently read that if the die they could become toxic to the tank and kill all my fish. Is this true?
how big is your tank? sea hares are slugs so they are toxic, IIRC...but their no way near as toxic as some of the other ones. If you have a large system, it should be fine. if i'm wrong on that someone correct me
My sea hare was cool but it headed for power heads and overflows the second I saved it from getting sucked into them. That is why I pulled my sea hare and took back to lfs ( they gave me full refund, awesome customer service)
Here is a pic of my old sea hare. I miss him, but after spending a weekend saving him from commiting suicide, he went back to lfs (Barrier Reef in Boca Raton).
As far as toxicity, anything dead in a 37 gallon tank is going to cause potential problemo.
Mine looked more like this picture I took from Etropicals. It was the only one I could find that sort of matched my sea hare. But since I cant seem to find him to take a picture I guess this will have to do.
And by the way this is not in my 37G is in my other tank out here at work.
