i just got my second batch of reidi fry. my others are 12 days old and just starting to show intrest in hitching posts. i had to put new fry in same nursery tank, a 10 gallon. i have appr. 20 fry from original batch but have to put new fry in same tank. i have only seen and recovered 5 new fry but am expecting more tonight or tomorow morning is this going to be a problem or too many fry in tank am doing 3- 25% water changes a day but feeding heavy bbs w/ new batch of bbs daily. also phyto and cyclopsease. running a sponge filter and air line. original fry seem to be doing very well for 12 days old only had about 40 to start with ant suggestions ??

The only prob is that the older fry will push away the younger in search of food and the younger will suffer, only way to combat this is separate tanks, if you can't do that, the younger will have to learn quick.

Tank size is good.

why not use one of those breeding cages/ nets/ tanks used for separating baby mollies and guppies from parents and other tank mates usually readily abailable.at any pet shop. some have excellent flow, so food would acumulate there also you'd be able to feed them seperatly.
