new seahorse tank

now my uncle is looking to set up a seahorse tank. He used to have some but that was 25 years ago, and he doesn;t know about the new technology. What equipment does he need and what size tank should he get. Should it be a tall tank, like a coluymn or just a normal one. Could he keep seahorses in a 12g nano cube???

Seahorses prefer taller tanks, as they move up and downquite a lot, especially when mating.

A 12G would be too small, except for dwarves.

30-40 gallons is a nice size. You need to watch your tank temperatures. between 72 and 76 depending on species.

I have some in a 37 tall, great tank for them
