new seahorses!

I just placed my order with Seahorse Source for a pair of erectus! They're going in a 57g rimless with a few mushrooms and zoas, sponges and photosynthetic gorgs, and several types of macro. Any last minute advice?

The female scared me nearly to death, she curled into a ball and hung out on the sand for a minute. Thank goodness Abby is so helpful! She talked me down, and explained the situation beautifully. It was either stress from shipping, or temperature difference. Phew!

Wow. They certainly ARE beautiful! The lighter one has cirri how interesting. Thanks for sharing the pics. Keep us posted with more pics. :)

I've got them trained onto a feeding station already! I'm using my cup coral as a natural,well...cup, and the seahorses swim up and stare at it when they're hungry. The first time I tried it, my fat little mandarin hopped up and started eating immediately, and the horses joined right in!

Nice! Lol, yes Abby was very good at calming me down when the horses got home; she should be on NPR hehe. gnu, how do you get your red grape to attach to the rock?

Ripardue, the base rock has really deep holes, I just wedged the red grape in. You can use superglue gel, I used it on a few other macros, and it works really well.
And thanks, Nemosnems, so far so good :)
