New Set-up Red Sea Max 650!! Frags & Coral Needed

Well guys after many years out of the hobby because i was moving around amongst other reasons like a new baby boy son, I am back!!!

I just set up a red sea max 650 with upgraded LED lights! (PICTURES COMING SOON)

I am slowly remembering all the steps etc, but oh boy have things changed from 5-6 years ago! I'm like an aquarium dinosaur!

If anyone has frags available, I would be interested! Send me a PM or post here. In addition colonies, and or corals for sale. I have 100% ready to start the journey of building a reef.:dance:

I hope I can learn from the pros on the forum and join FMAS to meet you all this time around!

Well, welcome back!!!! Not much has changed other than better flow, better lights and better additives, LOL. Coral selection is probably better too, albeit at higher prices.

Thank you!! And so far that has been exactly my experience. :lolspin:

I used to live in Doral, went to high school there in 2001-05

any updates? has anyone had one of these shipped to their house? how does it work need a forklift? please update wanting to order one but afraid of shipping. found them cheapest on ebay

They arrive in one big skid. My driver took it off the truck and we did the rest. Takes a fairly long time to put the stand together. Make sure you have a couple of dollies to move it around. The tank alone, empty, no equipment weighs around 350lbs. Have fun, they are beautiful tanks. I changed out my protein skimmer for a Octopus and the return pump for a Ecotech Vectra M1. The original skimmer is a bit of a hassle to set and we wanted a silent pump for the bedroom.

Yeah make sure u dont miss out that frag swap a lot of nice corals no better way to stock up.
